STADA Nizoral

Education picking up where cosmetic solutions leave off.

For the people who have it, dandruff can be something that lasts years. They might try to treat the symptoms countless times yet there is rarely an approach that truly addresses the cause. So, Nizoral does exactly that – with an aim of educating consumers as well as healthcare practitioners while creating a clear point of difference from cosmetic anti-dandruff shampoos.

The idea behind it is more relatable than you would think. What do people do when their scalp is itchy? They scratch it. And what if it keeps itching? They keep scratching. Sometimes they use absurd implements, too, and you might harmlessly think of a pencil or ruler here. We expanded the repertoire and used a heavy helping of irony to show how far people will go when nothing helps.

Emblazoned across the campaign is the question, ‘Have you really tried everything?’ In it, we take this everyday desperation to an extreme: the tip of a needle, the end of a vacuum cleaner and so on. With humorous exaggeration but also with a consistent, clear message: if you have really tried everything, then you really do need something that finally works.

The campaign is modular and can scale flexibly, making it perfect for different national budgets and media.Whether digital on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, or on TV, Nizoral draws attention because it shows something we all know about but never show. Most importantly, it offers a solution that addresses the cause.
